About

Infrastructure for Caspian cargo flows

The Port of Olya plays an important role in the infrastructure of the International North–South Transport Corridor, which links Russian regions with Iran, the Caspian countries and, further on, the markets of South Asia. The PLC “Caspy” cargo terminal is the closest to the Caspian Sea of all Volga region ports. This gives exporters tangible freight savings and makes full use of direct access to the sea: building the most efficient routes and ensuring unobstructed access to international destinations.

PLC “Caspy” was created with the growing role of the Caspian route in international trade in mind. The complex can receive various categories of cargo, handle them promptly at the port and build logistics chains between Russian regions and foreign markets.
